Can the Griz
November 8th-22nd, 2025
Can the Griz is a friendly off-field competition between the Montana State University and Bozeman Community against the University of Montana and Missoula Community to see who can raise the most food and money in the two weeks leading up to the annual Brawl of the Wild!
2025 marks the 26th year of this tradition. Last year the Bozeman community collected $652,876.87 for our Bobcat community - and over 1.3 million pounds and dollars were collected for the state of Montana.
All donations collected throughout these two weeks help stock the shelves of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank as well as MSU’s campus food pantry, the Bounty of the Bridgers well into the next year.
*Donations recieved BEFORE November 8th will not count towards the Can the Griz competition!
